Dr. Myron S. Augsburger

Dr. Myron S. Augsburger has had pastorates in Sarasota, Florida, and in Harrisonburg and Richmond, Virginia. He was also the founding pastor of the Washington Community Fellowship on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. He has spoken at several Mennonite World Conferences and served as moderator of the General Assembly of the Mennonite Church for several years. He and ten other college presidents founded the Christian College Consortium, and he was president of the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities for six years. Dr. Augsburger has authored more than two dozen books, including the historical novel Pilgrim Aflame, which was the basis for the film The Radicals.

He and his wife, Esther, have three children and two grandchildren.
